| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

York Minster Cathedral -- Ceiling of the Chapter Housevu 124 foisMarjorie had to almost lie on her back to take this photo straight up, right to the ceiling of the Chapter House. It's amazing to read that this was constructed in the 1260's.

Me Sitting Outside The Ticket Office with Diegovu 226 foisWe never would have found this small porta-cabin --- the main ticket office for the opening ceremony of the Olympics --- were it not for Diego. The ticket folks brought me a chair and put me on some gravel (at least in the sunshine) while they tried to sort out the buraucracy. Although we paid 30 Euros for courier service, and sent four e-mail messages and made four telephone calls, they "forgot" to print our two tickets.

Bracken With A Poorly Pawvu 293 foisBracken had just been on his 1 1/2 hour afternoon walk, and we took him for a run around the garden. He was fine, and then suddenly started to favour his left paw. We checked it carefully and no sign of pain or distress. In about an hour he was fine -- so our theory is that it was stinging nettle.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshirevu 4023 foisWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.28 Mai 2012
