| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

Steps Up - Stadio Olimpico220 viewsThis photograph was taken when I actually got back down to the bottom. Marjorie's and my seats were in row 11, virtually at the top of this photograph. With no hand rail, and my right foot in a boot/cast, I had to be helped up these steep and scary steps by two other spectators. A pretty humiliating experience.

In Bed at 140 Dowsett Avenue1400 viewsMe (on the left), Shauna (the baby), and Nana. My guess is late 1955. This isn't the best photograph -- no faces showing. I've included it anyway because I thought the bedside table is interesting. I love the old dial telephone, the 1950's shoji lamps. But my favourite thing is the bottle of lager and cigarettes. I never remember my grandmother drinking --- but larger! How images can be shattered through the magnification power of Adobe Photoshop.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4050 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
