Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake.

Tapa and His Favourite Toy941 viewsWow, Tapa looks ferocious! And how dare we spray water in his face and make him angry? In fact, this is Tapa's favourite game. If we stop spraying him and try to spray the garden, he runs in front of the hose. And if we shut the hose off, he stands guard over the nozzle. In this 1/1500 of a second exposure, Tapa looks mean. He's not --- and after his garden play, he went to sleep on my lap.

The Compost Heap and Kissing Gate273 viewsThis is in the corner of the farm, along a public footpath that runs on our property. As it's now sunny we're removing the accumulation of compost and using it to fill holes and valleys on our various fields.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4026 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
