Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake.

Arriving in New York City on the QE2 - April 1991160 viewsThis panoramic photograph, taken with a Widelux camera from the top deck of the QE2, is now quite poignant because of the prominence of the two towers of the World Trade Center. We couldn't have imagined when we took this photograph on a warm spring day in April 1991 that just over a decade later both towers would be gone. In November 2008 the QE2 sails to Dubai where she will be permanently moored.

The Back Garden at Whitecroft157 viewsLarysa has worked very hard in clearing up this part of the Whitecroft garden, and in making our Christmas tree look like a Christmas tree again. It's great to finally see blue skies and have some summer weather.

Round Bushes and Fig Tree123 viewsThis is the "entrance" to our front garden at Whitecroft. The fig tree is growing well --- our theory is that it's near the flue from the boiler, and also the kitchen extractor fan. The fig tree is in its own "micro-climate" that is hopefully a bit more like the Med than like Malvern.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4051 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
