Lord's Wood Sewage Problem406 odsłonUnfortunately, Lord's Wood Cottage (not under our ownership) is draining unprocessed sewage into Lord's Wood. This may have been the accepted practice in the past, but it crates a foul smell and health hazard just inside the woodland. We are working with the Malvern Hills District Council to remedy this.

PanAm Boeing Stratocruiser 377 in Honolulu, Circa 19496015 odsłonI did a Google search on this aircraft, N1025V. It was the first of 21 Stratocruisers delivered to PanAm (delivered on January 31, 1949). At the time it was called "Clipper America," although that doesn't seem to be the name in this photograph. (PanAm apparently had many aircraft called "Clipper America" over the years.) N1025V is now sold as a model. The real N1025V was sold to the Israeli Air Force in 1963 as a cargo plane, and last flew in March 1974.

Marjorie gave me a trip to Jordan on the Concorde for my 40th Birthday. Our first stop was Aqaba, where they had a reception for us. Most passengers had a lot to drink, and there were a lot of poorly passengers on the hot bus in the later afternoon.
