The Bull Ring, BirminghamПереглядів: 152Photographed on December 23 2005 from a restaurant on the top floor of Selfridge's in the Bull Ring in Birmingham, looking down on a small band, in red coats, on the lower level. They were playing Christmas carols. This photo was taken with my small camera phone --- there's no strap on the phone, and I didn't want to drop it on the band some four floors below.

Repairing the FountainПереглядів: 195Giving the fountain in the front garden a good clean. Unfortunately, in doing this the young lad managed to remove all of the moss from the outside of the fountain, and kill all of the plants in the front. The fountain looks "new" again, but has lost the patina it took a dozen years to acquire. October 2 2006
