Three Old GentlemanПереглядів: 271These three old gentlemen --- Batman, Brad, and McVit --- are all that's left from our small herd of alpacas. We decided, after our visit to Peru, that nobody in their right mind would pay 4,000 or more for an animal that has one cria a year (if you're lucky) and can produce enough fibre for a 45 sweater each season. But they sure are cute.

Sunset from our Bedroom WindowПереглядів: 118I was sitting at my desk on Easter Monday when I looked up and saw the most gorgeous sunset. I got the camera and slowly hobbled up the stairs, and took this photograph from the window just over our bed. It shows the view over our neighbour's back yard, looking towards the Malvern Hills. (Pity about the electrical wires in the distance.)
