| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

Steps Down - Stadio Olimpico227 viewsNo handrail for stability. This was taken from our row, looking down (note the large curtain that blocked our view). Another disabled spectator is helped down from her seat. I had to wait until most people had left, and then went down the stairs one at a time. It was pretty awful.

Our Own Ralph6974 viewsBy far the most popular attraction was Ralph, the Swimming Pig. Ralph swam around Aquarena Springs performing tricks and dives until the early 1990s when he retired. A picture of "Ralph the Diving Pig" and the woman he performed with was published in Chic magazine. The woman successfully sued Larry Flynt for presenting her in a 'false light' because the story appeared 'amid stories of bizarre sexual exploits.' Braun v. Flynt

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4017 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
