| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

Front of Woodman's Cottage260 viewsAs best we can tell, the front boundary of Woodman's Cottage is circa 8.9 meters from the front (south) of the Woodman's Cottage garage. This photograph was taken from the west, facing towards the east. Marjorie is standing behind the hedge at the point 8.9 meters south of the front of the cottage. Assuming we're correct (and our surveyor is checking this now) the area to the right (south) of the red line is our property.

Magnolia Blossom - Whitecroft220 viewsI love Magnolias. Great, huge, pure white flowers. It's a shame that they seem to fall apart so quickly, so it's hard to bring them in the house for a big floral display. (Unless there's some secret that only Southern belles learn, while drinking juleps.) This magnolia bud is in our large tree, Whitecroft, on a hot summer afternoon.

Bella Contemplating Her Ball136 viewsBella has managed (deliberately, of course) to drop her ball into the water dish. Naturally the fun is now trying to get it out. Tipping the dish over? Too easy. But she didn't like putting her nose in the water to grab the ball. So she drank as much water as she needed to drink to then grab the ball with her teeth.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4037 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
