| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

Early November sunset137 viewsI was at my desk and Kiko barked (once) at the conservatory door to be let in. I looked over and he was bright red. I thought he'd fallen into some sort of paint, and then I saw he was red from the sunset. I got my camera and my cane and hobbled around the garden taking these photographs. I've lived at Whitecroft since 1989, and it was the most gorgeous sunset I've seen. Thanks, Kiko.

The Truckman on the Transporter226 viewsThe back end of the Truckman after someone collided with it on Crookbarrow Road. We had to abandon it during the rainstorm, and had all sorts of problems getting MMA to recover it. Someone apparently rear-ended the Truckman. Photographed on the transporter at Lucies Farm, as the Truckman heads down the driveway and into the sunset.

Taro from Honduras464 viewsThis is the arrival of our sample taro from Honduras. We went to great pains to export Hawaiian huli to the folks at FEMA in Honduras, but nothing really came of this. The taro made decent, but not wonderful, poi.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4015 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
