| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

Artichoke and Mint333 viewsWe got lost one day going to Coventry (or somepleace awful) and we found the National Herb Centre. They had the most wonderful, big, silver-green plants that turned out to be artichoke plants. Ours didn't grow anywhere as large, yet. But fresh artichokes from the garden are great. We've surrounded the little artichoke plant with mint. Whitecroft, on a warm Spring day in April, 2004.

Motherhood910 viewsThis Tamworth sow had her first litter. Unfortunately, she's only had two piglets, but they're pretty cute. She chose to have them outdoors, on a bed of straw, rather than in the near-by pig ark. Here the piglet has a good look at Mom.

Mia Doing More Splashing Than Swimming127 viewsWhen Mia first got into the pool, she was more interested in getting out than anything else. But the water is warm (between 88 - 90 degrees F), Zbig was calm and gentle, and she got into the "zen" of it all.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4067 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
