Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake.

The Tewkesbury Ferry267 x angesehenThe other day, when coming home on the M50, I spotted a sign to the ferry. The ferry? Today we went to have a look, and there really is a ferry that runs several times a day from this beautiful spot on the River Avon (actually near the motorway) to Tewkesbury. That's Bredon Hill in the background.

The Tokyo Shimbun394 x angesehenThe Tokyo Shimbun is a large daily newspaper in Japan. They did an article about pampering pets throughout the world: dog swimming in Washington, D.C., acupuncture in Beijing, and swimming-acupuncture-massage at Lucies Farm. The photograph shows Richard Chaming, our veterinarian, with his dog Spice talking with Marjorie, as Gregorz swims in the pool.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4052 x angesehenWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.28. Mai 2012
