The Compost Heap and Kissing Gate273 katseluaThis is in the corner of the farm, along a public footpath that runs on our property. As it's now sunny we're removing the accumulation of compost and using it to fill holes and valleys on our various fields.

Magnolia Grandiflora -- Southern Magnolia122 katseluaThe large petals on the flower fall away, and the "fruit" is left inside. Here's a young flower, and the "fruit" from a old flower. The huge flowers smell wonderful, but fall to bits if we try to cut them and put them inside in a vase.
