In the Four Acre FieldПросмотров: 8595Three different types of pigs: in the foreground, the large black pig is a fairly elderly (but hugely fast) Iron Age - Gloucester Old Spot cross. The red pig is a pure Tamworth, and the piglet coming out of the ark is a Berkshire.

Top of Southern Gate PostПросмотров: 217Photographed from the interior (stable yard) looking down our track. The other fencing (light colour) was installed in circa 1990. We did not specify that the gates be wooden, or that they "match" anything. The important feature to us was that the gates be six feet tall, and stop prying eyes.

Magnolia Blossom - WhitecroftПросмотров: 233I love Magnolias. Great, huge, pure white flowers. It's a shame that they seem to fall apart so quickly, so it's hard to bring them in the house for a big floral display. (Unless there's some secret that only Southern belles learn, while drinking juleps.) This magnolia bud is in our large tree, Whitecroft, on a hot summer afternoon.
