We used leylandii cuttings, both from the front garden at Whitecroft and from other tree surgeons working in the area. Ben and Jed are unloading the last bit of cuttings from the trailer.

A glorious, sunny day so Marjorie and I took Missy and Ronan walking in Lord's Wood -- our private, 17 acre woodland. We kept them on the lead because there are sheep in the next field, and while Lord's Wood is fenced, we didn't know if it was Rottweiler-proof.

Our Room at the Hotel Plaza, TorinoПереглядів: 208We were able to find a hotel room in Torino for our last two nights at the Olympics. Our hotel, the grandly-named Hotel Plaza, was clean and remarkably inexpensive. But the room was also very, very "compact."
