Marjorie Outside The Toffee Shop in Penrithvu 217 foisI found their fudge (which is actually Scottish tablet) at a little gourmet grocery store in Cirencester a few years ago. We've bought their fudge at Fortnum & Mason and even Lakeland since then. As we were near Penrith, we thought we'd stop in and buy some fresh fudge and toffee. You can also order via their website.

Sewage Outfall -- Woodman's Cottagevu 277 foisThis is raw sewage, and it's coming into the ditch on our track -- our access to Lord's Wood. We have called this to the attention of the Malvern Hills District Council, and they have called it to the attention of the owner of Woodman's Cottage. But here, on the evening of September 19, 2005, it still pours. Fortunately, we can safely walk on the other side of the track.
