Chase and my Teddy Bear460 katseluaI think this is a great picture of Chase, and it's the last known photo of my teddy. The teddy was purchased at the gift shop in Kapiolani Maternity Hospital the day I was born. It had a red felt tounge and wooden eyes. It went with me to university (my mother hid it in my suitcase). When Marjorie and I moved to the U.K. in 1986, Chase asked if she could keep it. And then my ex-wife, the Rev. Marcia, made Chase give it away. Lost teddies. Stinky ex-wives.

Marjorie and Cathy - Heathrow327 katseluaCathy leaving to return to Australia after her two-week visit. Her Singapore Airlines flight delayed by two hours. We went to Sbarro as it was all that was open. I wanted spaghetti with meatballs, but they only had the meatballs. So I had meat lasagna, and the kind Sbarro man cut a meatball in quarters and hid it under my lasagna. The girls had vegetable lasagna which they ate in full, despite the absence of a smuggled meatball.
