| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

Our Own Ralph6978 viewsBy far the most popular attraction was Ralph, the Swimming Pig. Ralph swam around Aquarena Springs performing tricks and dives until the early 1990s when he retired. A picture of "Ralph the Diving Pig" and the woman he performed with was published in Chic magazine. The woman successfully sued Larry Flynt for presenting her in a 'false light' because the story appeared 'amid stories of bizarre sexual exploits.' Braun v. Flynt

Whitecroft -- The Outdoor Pool195 viewsWe haven't been in the outdoor pool since I can remember: my guess is circa 1995 or so. We had the liner changed about three or four years ago, so the water was changed then, but the liner installation was terrible and we never "opened" the pool. It's so gross now that we're at least cleaning it out. Lots of power washing and diluting with fresh, clean water.

Ffion Up The Ramp346 viewsI've read on several canine hydrotherapy websites that a minute swimming in the pool is equal to a one mile walk. If this is true, Ffion did the equivalent of 30 miles this afternoon....

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4023 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
