| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

Poi Happens Baseball Cap518 viewsThe caps were great, but they were difficult to sell. Most people (including me) think that a baseball cap is really a gimme cap --- as in "gimme, for free."

Hmm, how do I get out of this?267 viewsLord Rannoch, our Highland bull, smashed through the thick (and, we thought, sturdy) wooden fence while we were watching to take on Ballet Cruz, an Aberdeen Angus bull. Poor move, Rannoch. This shows that horns are no match for a size and youth. Fortunately, only Rannoch's pride was injured. Zbig and Gregorz ran into the fray (sort of) and separated the two angry bulls.

Cao Dai Temple, Viet Nam382 views"Indigenous to Vietnam Cao Dai is a fusion of the best from Taoism, Buddhism and Confucianism, with Christianity and Islam thrown in for good measure. Cao Daoism was founded in Vietnam only as recently as the 1920's as the answer to the ultimate ideal religion and insists that its' earth-based intermediaries or messengers include such luminaries as William Shakespeare, Joan of Arc and Napoleon Bonaparte."

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4051 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
