| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

| Walsh Family AlbumPhotographs of our family -- when we were young, or were working, or were travelling, having fun, being sad, putting on make-up, cooking, playing with the bull terriers, eating (lots of these), living. |

Papeete the Alpaca355 viewsI get the names of our three alpacas confused. This may, in fact, be Brad. The alpacas are tremendously curious, and he was quite amused by the flash on my camera.

Tamworth - Wild Boar Piglets354 viewsThese six piglets are 7/8 Tamworth and 1/8 Wild Boar. Most of the six look like they're pure Tamworth, but a couple have black snouts and black circles around their eyes. The six were raised alongside a wild sow and a wild boar, so they're quite feisty. They're off to participate in an "Iron Age" lifestyle experiment --- as I understand it, school children will be able to see how folks actually lived in the Iron Age.

Nevsky Prospect - St. Petersburg348 viewsThis is where my wallet was stolen. This is one of the main streets in St. Petersburg, Russia. Marjorie and I were walking up the street (same direction as the girl with the yellow shoulder bag) on a sunny spring afternoon. A large man on a cell phone came out from behind the bus shelter (on the left in this photo) and blocked my path. Others crowded me from behind when I stopped suddenly, and my wallet was gone. The police didn't really care -- this is apparently typical in St. Petersburg.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4015 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
