A rose from outside our kitchen window, Whitecroftšt. ogledov:613Kevin planted three rose bushes outside the kitchen at Whitecroft, and they bloom 10 months out of each year. And when they're not blooming, they drop these great pink petals on our parsley and chives.

Nevsky Prospect - St. Petersburgšt. ogledov:348This is where my wallet was stolen. This is one of the main streets in St. Petersburg, Russia. Marjorie and I were walking up the street (same direction as the girl with the yellow shoulder bag) on a sunny spring afternoon. A large man on a cell phone came out from behind the bus shelter (on the left in this photo) and blocked my path. Others crowded me from behind when I stopped suddenly, and my wallet was gone. The police didn't really care -- this is apparently typical in St. Petersburg.

Getting our live Christmas treešt. ogledov:105The Whitecroft "tradition" of having a live, rooted tree took us to the southern part of Gloucestershire, near the Severn, where this tree farmer dug up a gorgeous Norfolk pine for us. He needed his tractor to load it in our rental truck.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshirešt. ogledov:4026We took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.28.05.2012
