The Vet Giving our Tamworth Boar an InjectionПросмотров: 5051Ann Carman, from The White House Vets in Malvern, comes out on a Saturday and Sunday to see our Tamworth boar. He's a bit lame, but Ann found nothing in his paw (trotter?) and no apparent broken bones. An injection of a pain killer and some antibiotic is needed, but the first bends Ann's needle. Big tries to keep the boar in place while Ann tries again with a stronger needle.

The Six PearsПросмотров: 346We bought these six pears from Solstice in London. They're from France, and the tips of the stems have been sealed with red wax. But the pears looked a bit beat up when they arrived (I took this photograph shortly after we opened the box). They taste great --- but I'm not overly fond of all the cuts and bruises.
