The Ezeedog264 mol gekuckt ginnThis gentleman was demonstrating the Ezeedog, a complicated plastic device that you blow up (to create a firm "handle") and you then put the scroop part beneath, er, your dog's behind at the critical moment. The whole thing is then thrown away. It was all very clever, but seemed a bit complicated to me.

Nevsky Prospect - St. Petersburg367 mol gekuckt ginnThis is where my wallet was stolen. This is one of the main streets in St. Petersburg, Russia. Marjorie and I were walking up the street (same direction as the girl with the yellow shoulder bag) on a sunny spring afternoon. A large man on a cell phone came out from behind the bus shelter (on the left in this photo) and blocked my path. Others crowded me from behind when I stopped suddenly, and my wallet was gone. The police didn't really care -- this is apparently typical in St. Petersburg.
