Gate to the Stable Yard131 زيارةThis five bar gate has been a nightmare for us. We had it automated, but that never really worked. The prevailing wind seems to "hit" the gate and damage the automation mechanics, and recent (October 2008) repairs didn't last more than a few days. We've had people stand at the gate and watch us, like looking at a zoo exhibit. We are installing larger gates this coming week.

Marjorie in Padstow, Cornwall (Apr 27 04)292 زيارةMarjorie and I went to Rick Stein's Seafood Restaurant for our 18th Anniversary, and spent the night in Padstow. We took a stock trailer and rented pick-up, and then headed to Torquay to pick up Lord Rannoch --- the bull --- from the stud farm. It was "crisp" in Padstow.

Wisteria Vine160 زيارةNorthern wall of Whitecroft. I suspect we should have planted it on a southern wall. It took a long time to start blooming, but now when it's spring and early summer, it's gorgeous.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4055 زيارةWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor.
