| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

Tapa and new pet food1185 viewsWe tried to get Tapa to be one of our dog food "models." We set up the seamless background, and then put down the bowl of food. Of course, he became food-focused. But also kept turning his backside towards the camera. This is one of the only photos we were able to get of his head. We have lots and lots of Tapa's tail.

Westbrook at the Powick Parish Fete2269 viewsWe cooked Scottish | Kobe burgers at the Powick Parish Fete, May 28 2005. We also brought Westbrook Peter Lad (born 1 March 2005) --- our Berkshire boar. He was fine --- as though going to a fete was something he did every week.

Sharpshooter Craig - Thanksgiving 19661134 viewsMy uncle Dinny had a .22 rifle that he could barely use. When we went for our mandatory outdoor walk on Thansgiving, he brought his rife --- and asked me to have a go. What he didn't know is that I'd had three years of ROTC in high school, and was a reasonably accomplished marksman. I don't think I've handled a rifle since this photograph was taken 42 years ago.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4051 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.Mayo 28, 2012
