Highland Cattle Funeralšt. ogledov:730This Highland cow died in childbirth. We removed her from Birchfields by tractor. Andy drove the tractor slowly, and the cow's mother walked alongside. Vic walked slowly behind, with the other cattle following slowly in a single file. They followed the tractor until it left the field, and then dispersed quietly.

The Six Pearsšt. ogledov:326We bought these six pears from Solstice in London. They're from France, and the tips of the stems have been sealed with red wax. But the pears looked a bit beat up when they arrived (I took this photograph shortly after we opened the box). They taste great --- but I'm not overly fond of all the cuts and bruises.
