Nana, Baba, and the Silverswordvu 1098 foisThe only thing I know about this photograph of Nana and Baba is that it was taken at the top of Haleakala on Maui: that's the only place where silversword grows. There are other pictures in the same series featuring people I don't know. All seem to have the same logo on their caps. I tried zooming in on it, but couldn't make out what it was. Circa 1947 or so.

Standing In Our Cabin on the QE2vu 210 foisMarjorie was seasick during most of the crossing of the North Atlantic, so she spent a lot of time in our cabin. During the last day or so of our trip the seas started to calm, so Marjorie was able to see some of the ship.
