Herman Miller Mitta Chairvu 124 foisThis is the arm rest on my Herman Miller Mitta chair --- less than a year old. Trying to get them to honour their 12 year guarantee (or whatever it is) has been a real challenge. The chair is very comfortable for my bad (broken) back, but not so good from an armrest standpoint.

Wire Management - Andaz Liverpool Street Hotelvu 142 foisThere were no plug sockets (power points) near the desk in our suite in the Andaz Liverpool Street Hotel. To plug in my laptop and cell phone I lifted the top on this little box, to the left of the desk, and found this tangle of wires. I had to use my laptop elsewhere in the room.

Artwork at the Andaz Liverpool Street Hotel, Londonvu 143 foisThis artwork (plastic bottles with light bulbs) adorned the shelves in the first floor lobby of the Andaz Liverpool Street Hotel in The City of London. I particularly liked all of the extension cords and power cables. I couldn't plug my laptop in at my desk in my suite, but there were plenty of plugs in the lobby for the illuminated bottles.

First Floor Lobby - Andaz Liverpool Street Hotel, Londonvu 1941 foisWhen we returned to the hotel at about 11:30 PM on Sunday, there were no restaurants that were open. We were told room service was the only choice. We didn't want to have dinner in our room, so they suggested the balcony area shown in this photograph, just beneath the dusty palm trees. Up a long flight of stairs --- very difficult for me to climb.
