The Donkey Farrier1482 x bekekenPedro and Geofredo haven't seen a farrier in a while --- it's been very difficult for us to find a farrier that will do donkeys. But now their hooves are trimmed and pretty.

Carole and Her Calf231 x bekekenCarole is our Guernsey house cow. When she's in full action, she produces all of the delicious Guernsey milk that we can possibly drink --- and she's milked by hand. She's just had a new calf, a bull calf. I was taking his photograph, and Carole stepped in to protect him.

Merlin the Guernsey Bull277 x bekekenIt's a bit silly, but we have one Guernsey house cow (Carole) and one Guernsey bull (Merlin). They are very lovey-dovey, and spend a tremendous amount of each day grooming each other. In this photo Merlin looks a bit like a Roman devil-god. I think it's his short, stubby horns.

Richard Chamings and Carole263 x bekekenCarole, our Guernsey house cow, has a bit of mastitis. Enter Richard Chamings, our vet from White House Vets with a huge injection of antibiotics.
