Bromsgrove Cemetery276 mol gekuckt ginnA grave with plastic flowers. They'd been there so long they were covered with mold and algae. May 2005

Bromsgrove Cemetery268 mol gekuckt ginnThe tree was recently pruned: I suspect that these graves had previously been completey covered by the overgrown tree. Just to the right of this grave were two large garbage cans. May 2005

Bromsgrove Cemetery1580 mol gekuckt ginnQuite an "active" family plot, with lots of plastic flowers and the green crushed glass that I think looks like it should be in an aquarium, not a cemetery. May 2005

Bromsgrove Cemetery1289 mol gekuckt ginnI thought this inscription was quite moving. Too bad about the plastic flowers. May 2005

Bromsgrove Cemetery251 mol gekuckt ginnMore of the crushed green glass. I personally don't think it looks good when it's new, and as the algae grows on it, I think it just looks worse and worse.

Bromsgrove Cemetery238 mol gekuckt ginnIn the midst of all of these plastic flowers (the plastic roses even had plastic beads of water) there was a small bundle of fresh carnations.

Woodman's Cottage263 mol gekuckt ginnThis is the cottage at the entrance to Lord's Wood. According to our title deeds, recorded at Land Registry, the property line runs along the right-hand side (eastern) of Woodman's Cottage. The red line in this photograph approximates the boundary, so it would appear --- subject to further work by our surveyor --- that the trees, etc. to the right of the line are part of our property.

Lord's Wood Entrance to Bransford Road318 mol gekuckt ginnOur car is parked on the triangle of land that's part of the Lord's Wood title deed, and provides access to the Colletts Green to Bransford Road. The plan is to pave or gravel (with compacted gravel) this area in the next few weeks. When we commence woodland operations, the sawmill needs (I'm told) to be able to pick up the cut trees from next to the road, so this will become the staging area for that.
