Gate to the Stable Yard129 x angesehenThis five bar gate has been a nightmare for us. We had it automated, but that never really worked. The prevailing wind seems to "hit" the gate and damage the automation mechanics, and recent (October 2008) repairs didn't last more than a few days. We've had people stand at the gate and watch us, like looking at a zoo exhibit. We are installing larger gates this coming week.

Instead of giving the pigs cattle grain, we give them a special, luxurious pig mix from BOCM. And beer to stimulate their appetite and relax them. Oink.

I can remember painting the clay pots to look like houses, and (of course) there was the obligatory running water. Didn't take long for it to turn into mud.
