Award Winning Eggs362 زيارةJust after I took this photograph, a gorgon came running up to me to ask if I had permission to take photos. I said "no," but I explained I was a Life Governor of the Society, and had taken photos at the show for years. I said if I needed permission, a simple sign or courteous comment would be appreciated. I'm 56 years old: far too old to be yelled at by petty functionaries guarding eggs.

A Highland Cow Having a Swig of Beer240 زيارةOur beef cattle are raised in the traditional Kobe style -- they are fed beer and grain. Normally, they don't like the "fizz" in the beer, so prefer it if we pour it over the grain and let it sit for a few hours. But this was a hot spring day, and this cow quite enjoyed the cold beer right from the bottle.

We decorated the offices on the 9th floor with the tacky Christmas tinsel, and took this picture of exhausted authorisers (in fact, pretty much everybody) on Christmas Eve 1987.
