| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

Poi Happens Baseball Cap518 viewsThe caps were great, but they were difficult to sell. Most people (including me) think that a baseball cap is really a gimme cap --- as in "gimme, for free."

The Ezeedog227 viewsThis gentleman was demonstrating the Ezeedog, a complicated plastic device that you blow up (to create a firm "handle") and you then put the scroop part beneath, er, your dog's behind at the critical moment. The whole thing is then thrown away. It was all very clever, but seemed a bit complicated to me.

The Kissing Gate142 viewsWe installed this "kissing gate" so it would be easy for folks on the public footpath to pass from our land -- where this photograph was taken -- onto Geoffrey Grizzells' field, and beyond.

Arriving in New York City on the QE2 - April 1991157 viewsThis panoramic photograph, taken with a Widelux camera from the top deck of the QE2, is now quite poignant because of the prominence of the two towers of the World Trade Center. We couldn't have imagined when we took this photograph on a warm spring day in April 1991 that just over a decade later both towers would be gone. In November 2008 the QE2 sails to Dubai where she will be permanently moored.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4051 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
