| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

Elvis -- Wanna Play?vu 193 foisElvis went home today. We're always happy to see our doggie guests reunited with their families, but we'll miss Elvis' exuberance. Everything made Elvis happy. Even when waiting for his family to come and get him, he managed to chase (but not catch) a moorhen --- right into the muddy stream. Hopefully he'll be back soon.

Part of Craig's ancestor's homevu 137 foisThis is the old mill that we think was once owned by Craig's great-great-great-grandfather and this area is where the water used to run to run the mill. The water rights were sold off in the 1960s so no water now unless it floods.

Hobart taro peelervu 503 foisWhenever I see or even think of this taro peeler, I can't help but remember Francisco hunched over it with the taro. He'd open the little hatch door on the side, and filthy water loaded with bits of taro and dirt would go flying all over the ladies in the peeling room. This would happen dozens of times each day, but the ladies never seemed to mind.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshirevu 4055 foisWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.28 Mai 2012
