But Marjorie and I were too exhausted and grumpy -- from a six hour drive from Worcestershire -- to really enjoy the gorgeous scenery.

The Fresh Garden Salad, McDonald's Style234 katseluaMarjorie and I had to pick up some paint -- and I wanted lunch. Marjorie normally doesn't let me go to McDonalds, but I convinced her to give it a try because of their new, healthy food. Their website talks about garden salads made "using a host of wholesome ingredients including at least 6 varieties of salad leaves." This is Marjorie's second garden salad: her first was inedible. We were told this salad was "freshly made." Hmmm.

Candles at York Minster Cathedral137 katseluaMarjorie and I always like lighting candles, letting birds go free, ringing bells, etc. --- all the things you do in churches and temples throughout the world. At York Minster Cathedral we each bought a little candle. Ours were the only two on the go.
