| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

Magnolia Blossom - Whitecroft266 viewsI love Magnolias. Great, huge, pure white flowers. It's a shame that they seem to fall apart so quickly, so it's hard to bring them in the house for a big floral display. (Unless there's some secret that only Southern belles learn, while drinking juleps.) This magnolia bud is in our large tree, Whitecroft, on a hot summer afternoon.

The Crowd Alongside the Red Carpet246 viewsIt's always amusing when we walk down the red carpet to go into the BAFTA Film Awards. I always think the crowd wonders, "Who are those people anyway?" I took their picture --- they seemed pleased.

Big and the Tamworth Pig5495 viewsWe didn't know how well the Tamworth would swim: we suspected, from the Aquarena Springs website that he'd swim quite well. Here Big is trying to convince him that it's time to come out of the heated pool.

Happy Halloween from the Pigs974 viewsWe wanted a photo of a pig pumpkin for an e-mail newsletter. Couldn't find one with any of the stock agencies, so decided we had to try to create a pig pumpkin oursleves. Having never carved a pumpkin before, this was an interesting challenge. But here it is. Oink, oink! And now we get pumpkin soup and pumpkin seeds....

Pig arcs on the new hard core170 viewsThe hard core has not yet been compacted. The clay (on the right of the photograph) has been "repaired" by the construction team, but it won't take long for the wild boar to add their own special touch.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4065 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
