Vic and I were doing the traditional British thing: we were complaining that it was too hot, too sunny, too dry. So I took this photo of Vic, and said we'd both look at it when (in November) it was too cold, too wet, too dreary, and the days were too short.

Scottish | Kobe Fillet SteaksПереглядів: 469Two prime, aged Scottish | Kobe fillet steaks. Unfortunately, each steer only provides 17 to 18 fillet steaks, and we package them in a pair. So we only receive eight or nine packages from each steer. As a result, there is always a back-order situation for fillet steak. You can join the queue at the Lucies Farm e-commerce site.

Helicopter OverheadПереглядів: 271Tapa started barking the other night, and when he and I looked outdoors, there was a helicopter hovering across the street, pointing its searchlight about. It then went down our track, and away past the back field. I learned the next morning that there had been police cars and dogs chasing someone. The fugitive tried to get over our gate -- but the top is electrified (to keep foxes out). This is a photo of the helicopter.
