| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

Why won't they move away from the food?228 viewsLike all pigs, wild boar are food focused. They are so used to us that they are quite relaxed about us being in the same field.

Artichoke and Mint330 viewsWe got lost one day going to Coventry (or somepleace awful) and we found the National Herb Centre. They had the most wonderful, big, silver-green plants that turned out to be artichoke plants. Ours didn't grow anywhere as large, yet. But fresh artichokes from the garden are great. We've surrounded the little artichoke plant with mint. Whitecroft, on a warm Spring day in April, 2004.

View from our room - Holiday Inn Garden Court, Helsinki265 viewsThe airport hotel wasn't right next to the airport -- it was a cab ride away. And it was "nestled" in this lovely warehouse district. This is the view from our room. Fortunately, we were only here for the night.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4055 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
