| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

Ross Being Encouraged to Show Interest in the Dummy Cowvu 356 foisIan Crouch has used some "slime" (a poetic farmer name) from Carole, our Guernsey cow, to interest Ross. While Ross did some foaming at the mouth, and licked his lips, he wasn't all that interested in the plastic dummy cow, or even in Carole.

Three Old Gentlemanvu 268 foisThese three old gentlemen --- Batman, Brad, and McVit --- are all that's left from our small herd of alpacas. We decided, after our visit to Peru, that nobody in their right mind would pay 4,000 or more for an animal that has one cria a year (if you're lucky) and can produce enough fibre for a 45 sweater each season. But they sure are cute.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshirevu 4051 foisWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.28 Mai 2012
