Overhanging Hedgevista 148 vecesLooking to the north-west. This photograph was taken on our track (the gravel area). Our boundary is the post and rail fence which is barely visible in the midst of our neighbours' hedge. This hedge is the eastern boundary of the small garden behind The Cider Mill (21 Colletts Green Road). The hedge and trees are apparently overhanging our property. Just beyond the hedge (but not visible in this photograph) is the entry to Jack and Margaret's house.

Maritz sent us to Marbella, Spain. One of the activities was a "rally," where we divided into teams, each in a small jeep-like thing. The goal was this lunch spot. Doesn't that restaurant sign look inviting? Hmmm.

Arriving in New York City on the QE2 - April 1991vista 159 vecesThis panoramic photograph, taken with a Widelux camera from the top deck of the QE2, is now quite poignant because of the prominence of the two towers of the World Trade Center. We couldn't have imagined when we took this photograph on a warm spring day in April 1991 that just over a decade later both towers would be gone. In November 2008 the QE2 sails to Dubai where she will be permanently moored.
