Lord's Wood Cottage Extension366 زيارةThe new metal extension on Lord's Wood cottage. This photograph is taken from the east, looking slightly north-west. The extension is shown coming right up to the fence line, which we believe encroaches upon our property. The height of the extension can be estimated using Marjorie's height (5'6").

Whitecroft Lawn - Spring 1991218 زيارةWe hired Corscadden Associates, a firm of landscape architects in Wales, to improve the undulations in our lawn, and to make our pond more visible from the house. They did a detailed specification, obtained bids, and recommended the low bidder. Unfortunately, the low bidder's plan was to simply scrape away all of our topsoil and plant turf on the clay. The turf all drowned, and we had another firm do the replacement --- paid for by Corscadden's professional indemnity insurance. This is the original work, with the front of Whitecroft (and well) on the left.

Lava Flow? No it's just clay in sunny Worcestershire327 زيارةThe clay in the second paddock at Maggot's Croft. The construction team did a good job of smoothing it --- they really had to dig it up when building the hard core foundation for the wild boar arcs.
