Marjorie in Padstow, Cornwall (Apr 27 04)347 εμφανίσειςMarjorie and I went to Rick Stein's Seafood Restaurant for our 18th Anniversary, and spent the night in Padstow. We took a stock trailer and rented pick-up, and then headed to Torquay to pick up Lord Rannoch --- the bull --- from the stud farm. It was "crisp" in Padstow.

Me Sitting Outside The Ticket Office with Diego308 εμφανίσειςWe never would have found this small porta-cabin --- the main ticket office for the opening ceremony of the Olympics --- were it not for Diego. The ticket folks brought me a chair and put me on some gravel (at least in the sunshine) while they tried to sort out the buraucracy. Although we paid 30 Euros for courier service, and sent four e-mail messages and made four telephone calls, they "forgot" to print our two tickets.

Craig Out For A Stroll289 εμφανίσειςA preview of things to come? :-( I'd been immobilised for about 14 hours, injected with morphine and other goodies, and "log rolled" from gurney to CAT scan tray. This is my first time up and about, complete with nurse and walker. On the way home, I went "ouch, ouch" when Marjorie even drove over a tiny pebble in the road. I am a true Princess. May 5 2006
