Magnolia Blossom - WhitecroftПросмотров: 341I love Magnolias. Great, huge, pure white flowers. It's a shame that they seem to fall apart so quickly, so it's hard to bring them in the house for a big floral display. (Unless there's some secret that only Southern belles learn, while drinking juleps.) This magnolia bud is in our large tree, Whitecroft, on a hot summer afternoon.

Sunset from our Bedroom WindowПросмотров: 156I was sitting at my desk on Easter Monday when I looked up and saw the most gorgeous sunset. I got the camera and slowly hobbled up the stairs, and took this photograph from the window just over our bed. It shows the view over our neighbour's back yard, looking towards the Malvern Hills. (Pity about the electrical wires in the distance.)

Oh no, not another photo shootПросмотров: 216"Your Dog" magazine came to Lucies Farm to do an article on our luxury dog hotel. They wanted a swimming dog and since George (our star swimmer) had gone home that morning it was down to Barney to perform. Swimming is not is favourite activity! Issue is due out July 2007.

Sunapee Harbor - New HampshireПросмотров: 4290We took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor.
