Sewage on Colletts Green Road532 εμφανίσειςHigh rates, undersized sewers. We have complained about this for years, but get the old "budget" story. The sewers were probably fine until the housing estate was built. No increased resources were put into the sewer, so the water bubbles up on Colletts Green Road, and then flows away into the River Severn through the run-off system.

Nana, Baba, and the Silversword1354 εμφανίσειςThe only thing I know about this photograph of Nana and Baba is that it was taken at the top of Haleakala on Maui: that's the only place where silversword grows. There are other pictures in the same series featuring people I don't know. All seem to have the same logo on their caps. I tried zooming in on it, but couldn't make out what it was. Circa 1947 or so.
