Whitecroft -- The Outdoor Pool265 x angesehenWe haven't been in the outdoor pool since I can remember: my guess is circa 1995 or so. We had the liner changed about three or four years ago, so the water was changed then, but the liner installation was terrible and we never "opened" the pool. It's so gross now that we're at least cleaning it out. Lots of power washing and diluting with fresh, clean water.

Marmadukes Luxury Hotel -- Trying to Watch TV in Bed226 x angesehenThis overwhelming bed also made it impossible to watch the single TV in the room from bed. Yet the bed was 80% of the room. The single TV screen was small, and you had to look at it through the bars at the foot of the bed. It was the most inconsiderately designed hotel room Marjorie and I had ever encountered, and the hotel management was absolutely the worst.

The Laurels on Selma Avenue - Hollywood257 x angesehenWhen Marcia and I were first married (1971) we lived at The Laurels at 8017 Selma Avenue in Hollywood --- at the time near Schwab's Pharmacy on Sunset Boulevard. Our apartment was in the upper right hand corner of this California pink building. When we drove by it in 2001 --- some 30 years later --- nothing had changed.
