The Lawn Contractor183 katseluaWe hired a landscape architect to re-do the lawn at Whitecroft. They selected the lowest bidder, and this is what they did to our lawn. Our legal insurance company (Sun Alliance) sued their professional indemnity insurance carrier (you guessed it -- Sun Alliance). Ultimately, we were paid to have the lawn done again.

Whitecroft Decking260 katseluaThird time lucky? The first deck was built of teak and painted with special marine deck paint. It was incredibly slippery. The second deck was built of soft wood and stained, but the paint kept peeling off (you can see the latest coat on the right hand side -- the grey paint applied in 2003). The new decking is guaranteed for 25 years. Installed in August 2005, so we have until August 2030. I will be 81.
