British Airways Jet Taking Off from Heathrow392 زيارةWe were at the 2006 Wag and Bone Show at Windsor Great Park, which (I suppose) is tecnically part of Windsor Castle. The park is in the flight path of Heathrow, with planes flying overhead every few minutes.

Nana, Baba, and the Silversword1354 زيارةThe only thing I know about this photograph of Nana and Baba is that it was taken at the top of Haleakala on Maui: that's the only place where silversword grows. There are other pictures in the same series featuring people I don't know. All seem to have the same logo on their caps. I tried zooming in on it, but couldn't make out what it was. Circa 1947 or so.

Marjorie at the Bolex Camera Factory306 زيارةI always wanted a Bolex movie camera -- it was the "gold standard." When I finally could afford one, video cameras had taken over. Still, we found this little factory in Switzerland, and bought a new Bolex 16mm movie camera. I think they make them by hand, one at a time.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4290 زيارةWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor.
