St Petersburg, Russia

Marjorie always wanted to visit St. Petersburg, Russia. What a beautiful place - but our trip was marred by having my camera stolen on one day on the main shopping street, and my wallet the next.

SCUBA and Underwater

We sold our antique (circa 1944) Mark V hard hat diving helmet, made by DESCO, on eBay in July 2008. Here are the photographs we took of the helmet for our eBay listing.

Photokina 2008

photokina is the world's largest photographic trade fair, held every two years in Cologne. This was Marjorie's and my 5th visit to photokina. We also drove to the German state of Hesse (Hessen) to visit the hometowns of the Schoenhals, my maternal great-great-grandmother.

Adam and Eve Hotel - Belek Turkey

In June 2009 Craig and Marjorie spent a week at the Adam and Eve Hotel in Belek, Turkey. The hotel is a pre-fab building where they've covered every interior wall with mirrors, and the outside walls with Astroturf.
