Il Tempo Del Postino265 katseluaWhat if an exhibition was not about occupying space but about occupying time? Can contemporary art be interpreted outside of a traditional gallery environment? A group of the world's leading visual artists defy all accepted notions of the "exhibition" in an experimental time-based show, held not in an art gallery but at Manchester's Opera House. The title of the piece relates to "postman time" --- the exhibiton is delivered to the audience rather than the audience walking through it in their own time.

Casey With Bat Ears154 katseluaI hesitated to post this photograph because it looks quite evil, and it's out of focus. But Casey's bat ears and her jewellery make it quite interesting. Casey was running towards me, and I don't remember this evil glare. That's the funny thing about photography: it sometimes picks up things you don't see. In this case, the camera lies --- Casey is a sweetheart.
