Pippa and Jessievista 276 vecesWe tried to take photos of Pippa out in the garden, but she was having none of that. The moment I tried to put my camera to my eye, she shuttled out of range. A Greta Garbo dog! But she didn't mind the camera in the dog resort. Pippa (a Hungarian Viszla) and Jessie (a Hamiltonstovare) wait for doggie biscuits. (See shadow on right of photograph.)

I managed to limp to the couch, but at 3 AM I couldn't get up. Two ambulances later (they needed four people to lift me I was at the hospital. They did X-rays and CAT scans, and concluded that I had "soft tissue damage." Here I am, drinking a Diet Coke from one of those little cup things. May 5 2006
